Drinking:

<Definition: eyes smiling, ears listening, face laughing.>

At the Prince Albert, we set out to reinstate this gold rush pub’s connection to Williamstown and its community. All the fittings have been carefully selected to echo a past when the pub was central and loved by the people that lived near it and some have even been donated by our local patrons.

The large dark wooden bar provides the backdrop to the warm and lazy bar areas where you can decide between a glass of wine or one of the 41 bottle or tap beers on offer.  There is a heavy emphasis on Australian and New Zealand craft beers and a monthly guest tap to sample.  In the warmer months enjoy a sangria jug in the courtyard.

With the afternoon sun streaming in the window, you might think the day will go on forever.

‘Eddie Vrbanac, a patron for the past three decades who restained the wood during the refit believes Jess and Ashley Bettenay “have turned it right around and made it the pub it always should have been.” James Smith, Epicure The Age
