Bettenay’s provides you locally sourced food, served simply. We offer fresh pub grub at its best. 

The restaurant is open for lunch Friday and Saturday from 12-3pm, all day and night long for a leisurely Sunday 12-9.30pm and for dinner every night from 5-9.30pm.

Choose from the many spaces on offer.  We can accommodate up to 100 guests in the main dining rooms and for the intimate gathering or feast up to 22 in the private and stylish Peacock Dining Room. There is also seating in the bar and in the warmer months, enjoy the courtyard. 

Our menu blends the grand old traditional pub's should serve while encouraging our talented kitchen to try a range of styles and ingredients. It includes dishes such as our beer battered Fish & Chips or our Free Range Chicken Parma with in house made Napoli and shaved pancetta. Otherwise choose from our more aspirational menu or daily specials, such as the Organic Pork Cutlet with orange & apricot cous cous topped with mint, parsley and fetta cream; House-made Gnocchi gratinated with Ricotta, Napoli and fresh Basil; Grilled Lamb Backstrap on Spinach and Aubergine or an Oven-Roasted Ocean Trout on a warm salad of fennel, zuchinni, shallots and cherry tomatoes.

From our world famous char-grill you can choose from Tasmanian Eye and Scotch Fillets, Diamantina Rump or our signature 300g Porterhouse. All with a choice of delicious sides. 

Bar food is available from 5pm-9.30pm Monday till Thursday and from noon until 9.30pm Friday till Sunday; we've got Grilled Turkish Bread, Mixed Plates of Asian Goods and Europen Sweet Meats, Beef Tartar and of course Salt & Pepper Clamari. Find a friend and split the share plates.
